One of the key components of mentorship is the language that is used for communication. It helps diffuse situations, allows people to express freely and comfortably, helps develop trust in the process and the biggest of all, separates the problem from the person.

One of the key aspects of being an educator is to understand that we work as a team to build a community for the students. And in order to enable this community building, a leader must understand the kind of a group learner one is. There 5 different kinds of energies that teachers bring to the collaborative spaces.

This was part of setting up expectations for the group and some of the essentials of the kind of attitude required while working in a team. This can give leaders clarity on how to support different groups with varying energy levels and ensure the smooth functioning of the school.
